Hi guys and gals. Just joined the site and thought I would introduce myself to you all. My name is Frank and I enjoy the occasional dangling of a line in water, doesn't matter where, when, or what species. I also enjoy getting away with mates and having a good time, bbq's camping, fishing, or just sitting around talking, it's all good to me.
I dabble in trailers and boats as a side line and make all my own gear for boats and stuff, you know stuff like rocket launchers, bait boards, anything to do with boats or fishing. I have been known to spend some time on the computer, talking about fishing, which brings me to this site.
I am very impressed with the lay out and it will take me some time to wander through all the scenes and posts, to sort of feel my way around the site. There are a few names on here that I already know, and I hope to get to know many more in the near future.
I hope I can be of some contribution to the site, and will offer help where I feel my knowledge will be of assistance, I'm not always right, but can admit to myself if proven wrong. I have been at this fishing game for almost 50 years and still each time I fish or talk to different people on subjects, I still learn, and still have a lot more to learn, I don't know one lure from another, but slowly getting there. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I dissagree with this cause this old dog learns new tricks with every new adventure.
Well thats enough for now.
Let the games begin.

Tom & Stef. Thanks for the welcome, dropping in now and again, browsing a bit here and there, and like what I see. It will take a bit for me to get used to the layout etc, but once I know my way around, you will be sick of the site of me.
Is there a recommended scene where you go to experiment, posting photos, links etc, or is it trial and error?

Gday Frank, good to see you here, have a great stay, been following your posts over the years on fishnet, more specialised to an area here, as for trying pics, just try on this thread. They all work the same as other sites, bit different to fishnet with regards to the photos, but i'm sure you will get used to it!

Kamil. Thanks mate, I will work things out.
Yes it is more localised here, and I spose there is more people here I know then what I first realised. It's just a matter of sussing them out of the woodwork. I use the same user name on all the sites I visit ( well there are 2 exceptions:1yikes: ).
