Where to buy bait lower north shore

Any tips where to buy bait in the St Leonards, North Sydney Artarmon area?
I know there is a place at Narrabeen that sells fresh squid etc is there anywhere up my way that sells fresh bait?

fresh or frozen??
there are bugger all places that sell fresh bait, esp squid cos as soon as squid touches ice (or any fresh water) it is not much good for bait.
other bait esp fresh fish like slimies or tuna are also often better snap frozen.
there are plenty of places inc servos etc that sell frozen bait like that (from either windybanks bait - andersons bait - bremer bait)....
if you want live worms and stuff tho its pretty much narra narra or narra.....

apart from servo's about the place there is also a bit of bait available from the little corner store on blues pt rd just near the commodore.
most of the fish shops that are around the place sell fresh whole or filleted fish that you can strip for bait too.
