decided to splash out and get my self a nice heavy combo for chasing big kings and hopefully soon some small tuna off shore.

was looking at a
wilson live fiber RLF19S 7' spin 15-24kg
matched with a
daiwa saltist 6500

just wondering wat people think about it, and if anyways has or has had one or both of them and if they had any troubles with them or any comments at all.

Live Fibre's have always been a reasonably good blank, have built a few & never had any problems with them.
is this for land based work also, if not i'd be looking at a shorter, jigging/stroker 5'-6' style rod for a boat, 7' would be ok for a little more length on the stones, but can really work against you on heavy gear by adding to the fishes leaverage on you.
also if its a factory made rod have a good look at the construction, you get what you pay for & some W's i have seen leave a bit to be desired.
