Hey All,
I bought myself a mask and snorkel this morning and went for a trip to Neilsen Park this arvo to get out of the heat, was just cruising around the rocks at the eastern end an there were some cracking fish amongst the rocks and sand, I saw a couple of rays, two or three decent whiting, one legal looking bream, quite a few undersize too, a tarwhine (I think) and what looked like the biggest luderick I've ever seen. I know it's all a bit different underwater but I swear this fella was at least 50cm to the fork!! :1yikes:
It was super busy there so there's no way you could wet a line there except perhaps after dark, though I'm not sure wether you're allowed to fish there at all or not. Any way, a great way to beat this heat.
Off to the Bay tomorrow arvo with a mate for a fish, will let you all know how it goes.
Cheers
