Hawksbury BETS Bream Torunament

Hi guys we had the monthly BETS bream tournament held on the weekend,this time it was the hawksbury,there were 74 boat/teams in this event and we managed 8th,a few good bream and a thumper i got on a topwater lure,the bream went 42cm to the fork and weighed 1.2kg,there is a website that you can see the results if you like also..The website shows that my bream went 1.12kg but it was actually a miss type for the website so it will be fixed soon i was told...

Ended up taking home a BBQ which is the yellow box in the picture to save you asking,that was part of the top 10 placings as well as vouchers,etec oil,cash and a few other things...

The pre fish was on saturday and we got stuck with mack tuna on 2lb-3lb braid and 4lb leaders for several hours that were all busting up near lion island..Pics below

Just as we kicked off past the starting point I copped a sugar pen set of trebles to my leg..beats u fishin forster ?

what a slut of a bream, the sugas ar doin pretty well atm,
i copped a chubby treble in thumb a few weeks back hurts like s*#t espeacilly when u have to push it out the other end and cut the barb of

Nearlly got spooled a couple times but got eventually worn off the leader by one after 20mins and that lure was a skinny pop junior zip bait..
