Went out on Pitty yesterday with Pete Le Blang.
Great day out, got a few squid in the morning but they were pretty hard to come by, took a visit to five or six spots to find em.
Once we had a couple on board it was on the the downriggers and on our way.
Sounded plenty of fish over the first hour or two but turning em on to the bite wasnt easy, then before we knew it we approached the middle of the day and met a nice active school of fish round the 65 - 75cm mark.
Its a nice way of fishing with the downrigger giving you plenty of time to kick back and chat about the world - very relaxing - then you hit the fish!!
A few nice Kings (all released), some fast and furious action and a bit of fun later t'was time to call it an early day.
