Hi, wondering if there are any offshore reports, looks to me like our warm water has retreated in the past few days. Anybody having any luck offshore?

Hey Rokjok,
Things have been pretty quiet offshore 4 the last few days...... water temps on the wave rider (about 7miles out) down to 19 or just above for most of it (except on the occasional high tide which seemingly brings some warmer water in for 5 minutes.) No school dollies close in anyway.
Still hear there are a few bigger dollies off the shelf - and the odd stripe also being caught out there as well, where the water is a bit warmer.
Few small yellowfin too in the odd patch.
Its been a bit of big boat only weather too of late so not loads of reports.
Today should see some good fish caught though for sure... its already been a great season and expecting more
There are some nice fish out there, my mate got another Stripe, lost another one by being spooled, and lost a 20kg Dolly at the boat after the hooks pulled. When they were hooked up to the stripe there were 3 others jumping around the boat!!! Is the fishing crazy off Sydney this year or what? Another Short Billed Spear(approx30kg) was caught also that i was told about today. Few others hooked up to Bills too.
