Gday ALL..

I am just curious to know IF any one has used PENCIL LURES and if so,are they any good..

A good friends dad of my youngest daughter had told me to buy a few of these lures ready for the warmer months to come as they are great, when i went into our local tackle store YESTERDAY to have a look at them, theyre expensive $25.95 EACH !!!...and NO WAY will i pay that if theyre NOT any good..

IF anyone can tell me they are,,,what colour does any recomend PLEASE..

Take care to all..

Mate they do work but like all lure techniques you need to practice.
I have found the NW pencil from lucky craft pretty deadly. If you want to not buy they expensive ones try rays outdoors, although I dont recommend them as a shop i was in there a few months ago and picked up one for $5 bucks. Not a bad option if you want to try them out. I try the natural colours and clear lures with slight patterns, not sure the names of them as I bought them ages ago.
good luck

Mate I love the bassday sugapens. Have caught all sorts on these, salmon, tailor, whiting, bream, bonito. Fantastic lures.
Cheers

must have been writing answers in my sleep. NW Pencils and Bassday Sugarpens are both gun lures, deadly on whiting.
A cheaper option would be a Jaz surface lure or the River 2 Sea Baby Rover.. :icon_smile_wink:
