I'd love to get a boat. Unfortunately i have a problem. CASH! Not enough. I used to live in Thailand and only got back about 3 months ago. So havent saved much money. What with setting myself and the wife up. Hence why i asked about the cheap boat. How much for a trailor for the boat? Trailor with boat 1k - 2k i could probably do in a couple of months. Paying off my Credit card is no fun. :banghead:

Depends what you want. Tinnie or a bigger boat? I'd love a bigger boat but will settle for a tinnie for now. Maybe next year i'll buy one.

I am looking to sell my little boat. its a 16 foot dory.. on a trailer, with a 30 HP motor..
The boat was origonally wood, and has been glassed over due to some soft spots in the wood.

It goes well, and is deep, so easy to fish in, and not too bad when going out the heads.

Due to the speed of the motor you wouldn't head miles off shore, but within view of the beaches etc would suffice...

It has key start, forward cable steering, and a heap of rod holders.... comes with fuel tanks, battery, bilge pump with float switch ...

i am looking around $2200 as is... but am also still thinking i could keep her.. if i get offers i would prolly take them, but not going out hard and putting it on ebay or anything like that ... yet... hehehe

Yeah that boat of hamu's is a good cheap boat.
We put alot of work into it to get it set for fishing, so its ready to go.

Here is a pic of her...

I am going to pull her up the driveway this week, and give her a good scrub, get the leaves out (from the past 2 weeks of wind) give the engine a bit of a run in the bin....

then will post some pics of inside etc.. may do it on a new thread in the trade section...

Yeah, so she is either 4.5-4.7 - i will have to double check...
very deep, has rod holders etc etc ... at current i have taken off the sounder and the radio, but i can put these back on for the right price...
