Sorry. Wasn't sure where to post this. So anyone been fishing at the entrance? Is it true you can fish the beach and also the lake? Thinking about going with the wife this weekend. Any thoughts?
i got a mate up there at the moment he says the fishing is pretty slow but for a nice place to visit its AWESOME!!! hes only been catching little throw backs

G'day mate, it is true you can fish both the beach and lake there :icon_smile_big:
If you have a beach rod and reel, find a high spot on the beach and look for the dark patches on the beach, otherwise called gutters. These are the best places to fish beaches.
For the lake, try around the bridge.

Well i have just booked the campsite. We will be going there on Saturday morning to midday. Should be out fishing sometime soon after we check in. Will let you know how we get on.:bluefish: :1fishing1:

Neither we were down the long jetty end. Went off the jetty with about 6 other fishos there. Nothing! No one caught anything. Next time will move closer to town me thinks.
i heard u can get some good sized tailor off them jettys, correct me if im wrong
