View Full Version : Lower Hawkesbury Report 17/1/07
umm... how to make it simple... DEAD the area between the colo and dads corner was absolutly DEAD! 1 throw back flattie and wat got me most excited is i hooked up on a bass well i think it was... it was at skeletons in typical bass country and i casted my spinner bait right in between 2 brabches it got snapped up and i was on! after 10 mins of fighting it felt like a dead weight and then the thing every lure fisherman HATES i lost my 10 buck spinner bait:nopity: :Beating_A_Dead_Hors after that we tried some dads corner with no avail just some little nibbles and then just up from the bridge to no where were i caught my flattie i was VERY dissaponinted to say the least, i put it all into organising this trip picking 3 spots i thought would be good for NOTHING!!!:violent1: asides that it was GREAT conditions for on the water with only the waves from wake boards and only seeing 3 trawlers all day with one of them acctually stopping to talk to us, if any of you are thinking of takeing a trip on the hawkesbury in the next week i advise that you dont go dads corner.

Spewing about the Bass Tom, i know Kris and Ben used to clean up around that area. They used to tell me stories of the 20+ fish in an outing! Just a few hours, the Sackville Ferry wharf they said was also great.
