A Big hello to all sydney fishing fanatics,
I am a newbie and am hoping to learn the ropes with a more experienced angler. I have all the gear and so far have been to a few guided trips so far, so if you need a buddy during your next trip around sydney ( especially the beaches ) do give me a shout.

And if you woulden't mind taking me as well, I'd be glad. :PogoStick: I'm Norwegian btw. 21 yo , live up in Oxford Street with my girlfriend in Central Sydney. I would love to go fishing with some of you guys!! I'm a fishing fanatic, I compete in icefishing back home (god, do I ever miss that!!).

I really want to catch a few bigger fish, so if anyone had any ideas where I might should go, what bait to use etc. that would also be great :)

Kezza & Borre. Welcome to the site and welcome to Sydney.
I can't offer any help as far as beach fishing, as I don't do much of it these days.
There are occasions when I am looking for extra bodies on the boat, and I go on a few outings where a heap of us fishos get together for a bbq fishing trip.
I will soon be trying to organise such a trip with members of this site, so stay tuned.

Hi all,

I don't fish Beach/Rocks much anymore, but if any of you want a fish somewhere along the shore of Botany Bay, i would be happy for the company.

I think a BBQ or like is a great Idea for us fisho's to meet.

I fish landbased nearly all the time.....and would LOVE to get out on a boat for a change.

I live at brighton, so if anyone ever needs a deckie for a day on the Bay, i would be more than happy....(I'll even bring lunch!)
