G'day all,
I have recently become the proud owner of a new 60hp Yammie 4st. :D

Spent Monday and Tuesday running it in around the Hacking and Botany Bay. Great time on the water, and the motor didn't miss a beat. Fish weren't co-operative, but we didn't try too hard. All in all a wonderful 2 days with my eldest son, putting 10 hours on the motor. :D

Great choice of motor there Ken.
I don't own one myself but I have been on a few boats that have had 60hp Yammie 4 strokes on the back and they went just great and very quiet.

Hooky - thanks mate. The motor went like a dream, and as an upgrade from a 1980 70hp Johnno, I'm amazed at how quiet it is. I pulled up at Molyneaux point and put it in idle, and was only aleretd to the fact I hadn't turned it off by the sound of the tell-tale hitting the water. Amazing.

My boat thought that the water must be on top of the boat (re: the two weeks of rain we got), but alas it soon remembered - just be nice to the boat!!
