View Full Version : A kid looking for his first boat!
how much would a tralier for a 17ft boat cost. not looking for brand spanking new probably out of my range as i only get 5 bucks a week plus whatevas in my bank. also would you guys have any sugestions for a boat for a 15yr old student like spec's, length and motor size thanks in advance:beerchug:
Ethyn. Trailer 2nd hand for 17'boat between $600-$1000. I would suggest you start with 12-14' tinny, depending on what and where you want to use it. My first boat was a 12' tinny with 4 hp johnson, couldn't count the boats I have had since that one, but it taught me a lot about boating.
You, like me ( back then ) would have to rely on a licenced driver, getting you to the ramp etc.

What is your budget? It's no good us suggesting a $30000 boat if your budget is $10000 or $10000 boat if your budget is $5000. Give us a starting price. You say you want a really good boat very very cheap, gonna be hard to find.
