i have found a 14'' fibre glass half cabin used boat, apreance/paint interior looks superb and is up to scratch. it has 'navman' 'fishfinder' which are a great add on. everything looks pretty much up to scratch even has a bonus 3 rods lol which is no real biggy. however the 50hp engine seems to have a problem and a boat with no engine well whats the point heres what the sales add said :

Comes with a Mercury 50 HP ENGINE (HYDROFOIL incl.) but please note: it has a fault, it won't start properly - needs to be fixed (nothing big I think) - as PUMP is OK, GearBOX is OK so might be only electric problem (?).

its a bit vague but would any of you guys have a rough idea what the problem be and how much it would cost to fix or is it a simple job like replacing the spark plug on your lawnmower thanks for your help guys

nah well first of all wouldnt be alowed to spend simmilar price on something smaller and considering if all the engine needs is a service wouldnt that be a better buy. IF thats all it needed a overall service (however much that would cost)
