bloody hope so, the satellite pics seem to suggest thats whats happening but the mhl wave rider buoy isnt giving temperatures at the moment for some reason?
ill take a really good look at the satelites on the weather channel later tonight

Water is crap!:violent1: We went out to the BB FAD, and only got 20 odd degrees. It was warmer closer in. But I have to say, it has warmed a little since two weeks ago when it was lucky to get a reading over 17.5
Mate of mine went out to the peak yesterday, recons he recorded surface temp 22.8 but sinker still cold when it came up, so maybe it is starting to flow again.

The Peak? We were at NE Peak's off BB and the temp got up to a scorching 21.2 degrees. FAD was empty and 20.8 degrees. Then came the quickest wind change i've seen. 5-10kts NE turned into a 30-45kts SW in the time it took to get BB FAD to MAroubra Beach. I'm just glad we came in then or it would have been a slow wet trip.

Yeah know a mate went out to the long reef wave rider last wednesday and said 20 degrees only. Big dollies were there but not interested in anything.
Been that way for two weeks now.
BUT: Check out the satellite SST today. Looks like a big lick of 26 degrees is coming in towards us again from off the shelf....
maybe that southerly blew it in!!
praying for it to get in further anyway.

Sorry to do this to you guys but its a lovely 26.5 here on the sunny coast.:nutkick:
Its heating up, 22deg in close now, not quite at the shore, but getting there, another week of Nor'Easters ad it should do it nearly. We trolled all day Friday for 0-0-0's we did have a triple hook up on Wahoo, but lost them, bit thru trace and tangled the other two under the boat! Temp was 24.6deg on the shelf, others wider were getting 25deg. Hovig landed a Wahoo!
