do you possibly know how long drive it would be from liverpool to hawksbury river??

Depending on what part of the river you wanted, it shouldn't take more than an hour.
ohh i see..!!
some part that i can make my dream come true and catch a jewie??
which is spot has more jewies or are they all the same??
and pilchards will do the trick for bait right??
if your landbased go to slippery rock and cast down there using fresh squid and hawkesbury river prawns

whytri,
why drive all the way to the Hawkesbury, The Georges is full of em. I'd say it's more technique not area, keep tryin man & collect as much info on your local fish as you can, from fisho's & web sites & your local tackle stores & eventually you'll crack it & land a jew in your local waters & from there on it will just keep gettin easier!
koolz..thanx guys..i will take your advice..
feel like goin fishin now! lol

Are there any land based spots for catching jews in the Georges River ? Most spots seem to be boat-only spots .
