Did I see a fish trap

Was driving over the Spit Bridge Wednesday night when i sawa 9m Aluminium work boat, dumping what looked liek a fish trap in just west of the northern pylon of the Spit Bridge. Are fish traps big square cubes?

Yep they bloody are,

Pittwater is full of them at the moment

Some bloke is dropping unmarked ones as well.

I think they are limited to 10 but this bloke is running at least 15
