G'day,

I am off to my favourite place in the world, the Clarence river. Just got my outbarod back from its service yesterday, new impeller, new side plate where the flush socket fits and a new cowling cover to replace the one that got run over by a truck, all fro 230 bucks. Great outboard though, has never let me down so far. 1997 Johnson.

Going to target flathead on lures, school jew, whiting all from the boat, and also a few beach worms and a bit of beach fishing and hopefully a few 2 kilo niggers from the rocks. Great place during summer and reports are that the fresh in the river has the fish and the crabs moving.

What is everyone else up to ?

G'day guys,

It is still the lucky country in so many ways, all of those options are sounding pretty good.

I am going to try and explore some new territory this year, take a few runs over to Iluka in the boat, fish the entrance to the Esk and the various rock walls around that side of the river.

In the words of the recently deceased great aussie character,

I'm excited !!!!
