Mate the comp normally starts and finishes from Greenmans Valley.

I have never stayed there so I can't comment, but I do kow that the road in and out can be a pain in the ass if its wet or been raining.

Im not sure about this year but thats where it was held in previous year.

Just remember to get your entry in early because your start position will be ranked on when it was received, so first entry received starts from pole position.

Cheers

Thanks guys....

When you say teh dates have changed is it still the 17-18 March??

The Thursday before make it a bit of a pain. We were going down for a pre-fish this weekend and wanted to have a look at run times, etc ... Guess I will just have to wait

Spoke to Chris, there definately will be a date change as it clashes with the Berkley Summer Series (Sydney Harbour) so keep an eye on http://www.nswptf.com/ for the dates.

Greenmans Valley is on the Central Coast side of the Hawkesbury River & you use the Peats Ridge turn off from the Freeway.

Yeah its a bit funny that the Summer Series dates happened to coincide with the Pro Bream dates...... could be just a coincidence but maybe not........ and if they are looking at clashes the 20-21 April is the NBC Gippsland and 19-20 May is the ABT Classic on Lake Macquarie... Its funny how there are no ABT STC clashes

I think it is getting to a stage now with all the different comps that clashes are going to be inevitable and people are just going to fish the comps that they want.

that is a clash between ABT & STC Jethro, but it won't change,I say you are right leave the dates & let the angler decide, move them 1 or 2 weeks & most times you still have to decide which 1 not to do to keep the peace at home & be fair to the family.

G'Day Guys,

anyone found out anything about the Grand Final prize yet ?

And why can't the Grand Final location be announced before it gets to a point where ya don't have time to pre-fish it ? I did'nt go to last years GF cause by the time it was announced I had no time left to pre-fish a location I'd never been to.

Anyone know the guys that won last year, are they getting their prizes or what ?

I'd like to continue doin pro breams but the distinct lack of info could make it all a waste of time.

Every other series has the info out there for all to see, why can't the pro bream.

I take the point that it's pretty relaxed, but it's nearly in a coma.

What I meant was STC events and ABT events never seem to clash with each other.... but both seem to clash with the Pro Bream.

These date changes make it difficult to plan for weekends off work and for those who are married time off from the missus

Hello all,
I'm a bit reluctant to express my feelings to much regarding the runnings and organisation of the comps, as i would hate to have to organise it all myself. BUT having said that i do agree with everyones frustrations at getting time of to fish in the comps at short notice, and i do feel there is a lack of comunication between us and the organisers (do they even read these forums ???) and also the winners of the grandfinal, let me say that if i won the GF ( :rolling laughter:lol ) i would be straight on to the forum to share my experience's in the usa. so if you did win last year or even know the angler who won let us know how they went.
Thank you.
