With the ABT increasing their entry fees to $330 for some of the more popular rounds I think you will see more and more people looking for other bream series to fish.. While it would be nice to fish for $10k in prize money there are pleanty of anglers out there (like myself) who fish these comps for more of the social aspect than to compete for top $$$

With the change in the ABT it could be a good opportunity for Chris and the rest of the NSWPTF team to pick up quite a new few anglers and grow the business.

I have to say I like the new teams format with 1 session per day. One thing I would suggest is maybe a later finishing time on Sunday. A few of the people I spoke to thought that the midday finish was a bit early.... and I know I could have done with a couple of hours extra on Sunday at Lake Macquarie.

Another thing is... Im not sure what happened with NSWPTF and the Ausbream site but it seems that Pro Bream is a dirty word over there. I dont know if the rift can be healed but it would be a great way to promote NSWPTF and get more anglers to the events... Im sure there are plenty of breamers there that haven'y heard of the Pro Bream comps..

These suggestions are not meant to upset any one and I recon Chris runs a great comp. I just think with all the changes going on in Bream Comps at the moment there is huge potential for Pro Bream to grow its angler base.

It would be great to hear other suggestions.

Mate I'm glad you found your way over here:upside down hello:

Mate the problem with Ausbream and Probream is someting that I'm afraid will never be able to be fixedHott

Unfortunatley due to personal reasons I will not be fishing any ( maybe 1 ) rounds of the pro bream this year and I think that there will be more anglers competing in the Pro Bream this year and I hope that brings a bigger winners purse for all those who attend.

They are a very laid back comp and I think that is what makes them sych a pleasure to fish.

Cheers

G'day Lee

I have been lurking round for a while......

I have to agree that the Pro Bream is nice and relaxed... its part of the attraction for me as well..... All I am saying is with a bit more promotion and organisation they could really give the ABT a run for their money which can only help the business grow..

Just simple things like having start / finishpoints listed on the web site and maybe a report on what worked for who at each comp. The reports were getting done a couple of seasons ago but they seem to have fallen off the last couple of seasons.

But if everyone is happy with the way its run now I will just pull my head in :)

Totally agree Jethro, they need to be organised much better & website needs to be used & updated with reports Ect... so people gain more intrest & want to check the site more often instead of just checking dates & scores & never looking again untill the next time they check a date.
