Kmart 25% off Rods Reels and combos

As the title says. I know that there are tackle shops etc etc, but this is something people are interested in.

Thanks Macman, I have to admit I am a bit of a closet KMart shopper. I know it doesn't sit well with some people who derive income from non KMart sponsors - oh well.

Its all about $$$$$ and the best deal for us, the consumer.

The best deal I ever got from KMart was a shimano rod/reel combo for my neighbours kid. There was something wrong with the barcode or it was missing or something and it came up as 1cent. The checkout dude said something like,"I don't think that is right but then he looked at the queue behind me and thought better of calling his supervisor so 1 cent it remained.

I suppose if it had been 25% off they still would have rounded it up to 1 cent wouldn't they?

I scored a couple of shimano beastmaster rods years ago from Kmart at North Rocks, still got them they make a great snapper jew kingie rod with Penn 850's on them

the rec retail was well over $100 but they had them out on the stand for $40 then I got 15% off that

My mate went into K-mart on the weekend and picked up a Penn 320 on a Penn stick for his Mrs. It was priced at $129 but the tip was bent and so is the second runner, so they discounted the rod and reel package.

So after the 25% off it ended costing him $45 :lol: :lol:

Looks like Kris and Ben will be replacing a tip and runner for him and it will still cost less than half price.
