.....22kg kingy this morning....

Ahoy there forum members and guest i went out for a live baiting session this morning on one of sydneys rock ledges.I was up getting liveys at 3am then me and my good mate head to the rock ledge and got down there about 430am and geared up..Crack of dawn was here and we sent out our liveys under balloons,my livey was in the water for about 10mins then the livey was freaking outand balloon was bopping a fair bit, 2mins later i watched the balloon go under the surface heading straight east like a torpedo from a submarine,i gave him to solid strikes and he fought hard by just taking alot of line so we decided it was a bronze whaler shark,5mins later he must of realised he was hooked and peeled off line with big head shakes so it had to be a big solid king i aventually got him tired and turned his head in my direction and at the ledge he surfaced and it was a king,a big king,my mate set the gaff in him and pulled him up the ledge...So we hooked him on the lie detecter and it weighed in at 22kg...what a nice king....Here are some pics below????Enjoy....

100/150lb trace about 3m long,with a 9o stainless steel game hook and 150lb swivel i normally tie my balloon to my swivel....:shark: :shark:

yes pk im always fishing wether its out catching bait or spinning,live baiting or at home rerigging everything>>>>MY bait was a big live yakka about 25cm long????:jamm:
